Rancho De Los Animales for the Disabled, Inc. Arroyo Grande, CA.
Rancho De Los Animales for the Disabled, Inc. (RAD) is a non-profit corporation founded by Beth Currier, who provides equestrian experiences for disabled youths and adults. Beth was the California Disabled Person of the Year in the '90's. She has been wheelchair-bound since contracting polio at the age of 12. Her life and work has been an inspiration to Coastal Peaks owner Mike Knight and the community at large. Through Beth's work and the generosity of volunteers, children and adults with disabilities can take riding lessons, go trail riding; and have birthday parties, picnics and camp-outs at the ranch. For more information, please call (805) 489-4751. Volunteers are always needed and tax-deductible donations appreciated.
